What should I expect

Carlisle Baptist Church is a multi-generational, multi-cultural church where everyone is family.  The church is inviting and friendly and the worship is dynamic.  We have a team of volunteers stationed at every door and “parking lot meter” to guide you to our welcome center, which is staffed with individuals who will answer your questions and escort you to your destination.  Whether you are attending a worship service, a special event, or Sunday School, please arrive at least 10 minutes early.  We don’t want you to miss a moment of ministry.

We believe that Carlisle Baptist Church is a “Light House connecting people to Jesus who gives grace and hope to all.”  We live in a culture where darkness abounds and people struggle to find meaning and hope for their lives.  We believe that Jesus is the answer to our every need.  If you are looking for a place where you can find hope and experience grace, Carlisle Baptist is the place for you!  It would be an honor for us to encourage you in your spiritual life, and to call you part of the Carlisle Baptist family.

What are the services like

Our Sunday services begin with Sunday School at 9:30 AM for every age.  At 10:45 AM our worship services begins in our “Sanctuasium” where you will experience a blended style of contemporary and hymns that will glorify our Lord. Our messages are Biblical truths that can be applied by every age listener to every situation in their life.

What should I wear to attend a service

Carlisle Baptist Church has no dress code.  At Carlisle we do not focus on appearance, so come dressed comfortably.  Our congregation is diverse in age and culture, and our worship is in both truth and grace.

What ministries are available for my children

Jesus encouraged children to come to Him.  We too, strongly encourage you to bring your children and allow us to care for, teach, and minister to your children.  A nursery is available for all worship times.  Additionally, age appropriate classes are offered for children during all services. Beyond Sunday School, a children’s church is offered during the worship hour. On Wednesday nights, an AWANA program is offered for children ages 3 to fifth grade.
We also have services for students in grades 6-12 on Sunday mornings at 9:30, Sunday evenings at 5:00, and on Wednesday evenings at 6:00.
